SALARY: £45,000 base salary, Year 1 OTE £75,000

This is what our client does – they take an innovative approach to diagnostics to help revolutionise the patient experience. They specialise in pathology and point-of-care diagnostics, supplying specialist, innovative and appropriate healthcare solutions. They now want a Field Sales Area Manager to seek new business and help them continue their growth.
As a Field Sales Area Manager, you will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities, using your personality to win over clients and sell key product lines. You will be operating in an area where our client is already well-established. This means you can dive into the role and explore the untapped potential of new business sales. You will be developing lasting and meaningful relationships with clients to not only secure immediate success but ensure customer loyalty.

  • You shall achieve regional sales and profit plans, using your big personality to sell key products to appropriate clients.
  • You will focus on bringing new business into the business, using your sales experience to win over potential clients and secure deals.
  • You will use your collaboration skills to work with the internal sales team to create the best path to success.
  • You shall help manage existing client accounts, ensuring that customers are happy with service whilst also seeking upselling opportunities.
  • You must develop an understanding of competitor activity in your regions in order to strategically plan your next sales plan.
  • You will be working with a mixture of private and public clients in the medical sector, so you must not be afraid of selling to household names and public businesses.


  • A minimum of 3 years of success in a B2B role.
  • An understanding of the medical and healthcare sector is essential, as you will be selling to the NHS.
  • Very articulate – due to the pressures of the role you must always be on the top of your game to achieve maximum results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills so you can represent our client professionally and efficiently.
  • Charismatic, charming and confident.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • Have previously worked with KPIs, achieving and exceeding your sales targets.


  • A generous base pay of £45,000!
